SPRINTCARS FEATURE, CENTRAL MOTORS SPEEDWAY.

SOUTHERN SPRINTCAR SERIES. 25LAP FEATURE. CROMWELL. FROM GUT WRENCHING TO OUTSTANDING, thats what many speedway fans got at the fantastic venue of Central Motor Speedway Speedway in Cromwell on the first day of the New Year, with Round 4 of the Civil Construction Southern Sprintcar Series done and literally, dusted. With 13 Sprintcars rolling out onto the track, we knew it was going to be a beaut from the run of the Heats. With Jamie Duff taking two wins from Heat 1 and 3 and young Joel Myers Jr. taking a win in the 2nd Heat. Jamie was on a mission, as we seen last year, Joel came over and really stamped his mark, with incredible talent as such a young age and more or less done a clean sweep, but this year you could see, the game had stepped up a notch and the mission was on, to get that flag first. Another absolutely brilliant driver to watch is that of the 77C, the high flying Jayden Dodge. Must be some good stuff in the Ruapuna water cos these two "C" cars were out to place cross hairs on many who stood in front, as the hooves kicked up the dust, it was on and bugger me, the gut wrencher came, with the two American lads caught up out of Turn 2, along with Dean Miller, but luckily for Dean in the 55T, he was able to rejoin, where Joel and Brenham ended their clash on the infield. Its just one of those things that happens, high speed, maybe poor visibility and a mounting of wheel to wheel can end in disaster and that was that for the two Suck It Up 46ers. Still both outstanding drivers and no doubt they will be back in other rounds and Series and get to see them in action again. With the war in melt down mode, it was down too 8, with four casualties on the infield and ol Mathew Andersons 16T didnt get to start. Unsure why but a shame, as this bloke is normally very fast and consistant. Lets put the typing away and get into the business.. Its FEATURE TIME.... BACKSIDES SCREENSIDE, THIS IS A RIPPER. Congratulations to Jamie Duff Motorsports.... absolutely stellar night from first roll out of the gate, well deserved Win.
