A 95-Year-Old 1928 Ford Model AA Peddler Truck Still On The Job
It was purchased new in 1928 and it's still being used to promote the Merritt Clarke Store in Bantam, CT. It's a 1928 Ford Model AA peddler truck known as "Merriweather" that will also be the centerpiece of a Model A truck and car show at the store from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023. Ford Model AA is a truck from Ford. As the Model T and TT became obsolete and needed to be replaced, Henry Ford began initial designs on the Model A and Model AA in 1926. Basic chassis layout was done rapidly and mechanical development was moved forward quickly.
