Range Rover Sport SVR 2015 -- The fastest and most powerful ever production Land Rover will make its public debut at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed (27 to 29 June). The Range Rover Sport SVR will be the first model to wear the new SVR designation, which will be worn by all future high performance models.
A camouflaged prototype of the 550PS Range Rover Sport SVR will take a break from its demanding development schedule to give spectators a chance to experience the sights and sounds of the most exhilarating Land Rover ever produced - Range Rover Sport SVR. The Range Rover Sport SVR will perform a series of runs up the famous Goodwood Hill course in the 'First Glance' category.
The Range Rover Sport SVR is currently undergoing development prior to going on sale in 2015. Details of the Range Rover Sport SVR's 550PS powertrain are still under wraps, but crowds can expect a thrilling soundtrack to match the Range Rover Sport SVR's impressive pace. Performance data for the Range Rover Sport SVR will extend the Range Rover Sport's established capabilities as the fastest, most agile and most responsive Land Rover ever built.
The Range Rover Sport SVR has been created by Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations team and all future SVR models will need to meet stringent key performance criteria in order to wear the SVR badge. They will be built alongside existing models and sold through the Land Rover dealer network in the usual way.
Range Rover Sport SVR - designed, engineered and built in Britain - amplifies the engineering integrity, robustness and attention to detail that are hallmarks of today's Land Rover brand.
The second-generation Range Rover Sport was announced on 27 March 2013 at the New York Auto Show. Several streets were shut down in Manhattan for a launch party at the Auto Show starring James Bond actor Daniel Craig. The new Range Rover Sport seems to take on more of an Evoque styling, as did the full-size 2014 Range Rover. It is 4 inches (100 mm) longer, being 191 inches (4,851 mm) long; and 800 lb (360 kg) lighter, weighing in at 4,727 lb (2,144 kg).

The Range Rover Sport, the fastest, most agile, most responsive Land Rover ever, now has even greater appeal, with the availability of the Range Rover Sport Stealth Pack on Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic and Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic derivatives. Range Rover Sport Stealth Pack Order books will open in July (dependent on market) and first customer deliveries are expected towards the end of the year.
Making its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next week, the Range Rover Sport Stealth Pack features a set of exterior design enhancements, including satin black front grille and grille surround, fog lamp bezels, bonnet and fender vents, upper mirror caps and tailgate finisher. Range Rover Sport Stealth finish on non-reflective headlamp and tail lamp surfaces along with a choice of 21" 9-spoke, or 22" 5-spoke wheels, in satin black finish with wheel nuts in gloss black, further distinguishes the Range Rover Sport vehicle.
