This “Fresh” Used Supermini Was a LIE… Motor Grenaded + Full Rebuild

Used two-strokes are awesome… until they’re not. We picked up a used X-race GasGas, were told it had a “fresh” motor… and it blew up within minutes during our shoot. Lesson learned (again): if you buy a raced two-stroke, plan on tearing it all the way down and rebuilding it right. In this video we pick up where the disaster left off and walk through this GasGas Supermini build—what parts we ran, why we chose the setup, and how this size bike helps kids develop real skills (corner speed, clutch control, staying on the pipe) before moving up to a 125. Build highlights (parts & setup): • Fresh Wiseco top end + V-Force cage • Rekluse TorqDrive clutch + cover • Pro-X chain & sprockets + rotors + pads • Racetech suspension set for a newer rider • FMF Shorty, ODI bars/grips, ARC levers, frame guards, pegs, graphics/seat cover • Running proper fuel for a built small-bore 2T (C12 / Avgas) If you’re shopping for a used 85/supermini, this will save you money and headaches. #DirtBikeTV #TwoStroke #GasGas #Supermini #Motocross #MX #85cc #112cc #DirtBikeBuild #Wiseco #ProX #Rekluse #FMF #RaceTech #SoCalMoto #MotocrossKids #KTM #Husqvarna
