Sedan Battle: Hyundai Verna v Volkswagen Virtus v Skoda Slavia v Honda City | Drag Race | evo India

This isn't a review of the sedans. This is a mega shootout — an outright performance test of the new Hyundai Verna, the Skoda Slavia, the Volkswagen Virtus, and the Honda City. Out of these, the Hyundai Verna is the newest kid on the block and comes in all guns ablaze. It's got the turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine, just like the Slavia and the Virtus, but it's the most powerful and is mated to the much desirable 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Slavia's ace is its 6-speed manual transmission, and that of the Virtus is its 7-speed DSG. Both the cars make the same power, but throw it down differently. The Honda City has a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine which gives it a horsepower disadvantage but it comes in hot with its reliable powertrain. Each one of these sedans has something special and unique, but which one will trump over the others? Sirish Chandran and Aatish Mishra line them up for a drag race to find out.
