And to prove it’s worth, we drove it on an over 500 mile roadtrip. Other than mild exterior/inteiror updates, the new engine is the highlight for 2026. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏁 @Allcarnews Spec Sheet: 2.0L Hurricane Turbo-4 324HP & 332 lb-ft of torque 8-Speed Automatic 6,200lbs Towing 22MPG Combined/ 20 City/ 25 Highway We achieved 25.4MPG over 500 miles Base Price: $62,600 As Tested Price: $73,175 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How was it? The updated grille, headlights and climate controls are welcome changes, though we wish more could be done for a facelift. Our Summit tester came loaded with massage seats, rear entertainment screens, Night vision, and the fantastic Hands Free Driving Assist which we think is worth the $2,995 after our roadtrip. The GC remains a quasi baby “American Range Rover” in Summit or Overland form with its capability and loaded up features. The engine? It’s advanced with turbulent jet ignition, variable geometry turbo, 24% thicker cylinder walls, strengthened crank, bearings, port & direct injection… We found it performs well with strong power at 2,600RPM peak torque, an OK sound, and legit real world MPG all on 87 octane. Our only fault was a clunky at low-speed 8-speed gearbox tuning and some NVH vibration through the pedals.. that’s it.
