This BMW R100 engine teardown will give you a closer look at what decades of neglect can do to a classic engine. I’ve laid out every part on the bench so we can see the good, the bad, and everything in between. The teardown is just the beginning: this engine won’t just be rebuilt, it’s going to be turned into a custom engine for a project bike I’ve been planning.
