In this video, a professional driving instructor performs an emergency braking at 224 km/h with the BMW M8 Competition. At that speed, it took the BMW M8 Competition 238 meters to fully stop. That's 260 yards, or more than the length of two football stadiums. This exercise proves that regardless of how good the car is - and the BMW M8 is a capable car - it is impossible to defy the law of physics.
