Alvis Firefly test drive
The Alvis Firefly was introduced in 1932, based on the famous Speed 25 chassis with a four cylinder 12hp 1496cc overhead valve engine. YD 7867 is a very rare rare two seater with dickey seat with coachwork by Cross and Ellis of Coventry. This is one of only two similar but not identical bodies built on the Firefly chassis. It was delivered to Alvis agents Windmill & Lewis of Bristol on the 20th September 1933 and was allocated with a Somerset County Council registration mark.
