Produced in two series between 1960 and 1964, the Ferrari 400 Superamerica was Ferrari’s flagship GT model, built with a powerful 4.0-liter V12, luxurious interiors, firm but comfortable suspension, and elegant Pininfarina bodywork. Ferrari officially notes that the model included spider, cabriolet, aerodynamic coupé, and one-off Superfast versions. The 400 Superamerica was not designed as a normal sports car. It was built for elite customers who wanted long-distance performance, prestige, comfort, and rarity. Its evolution included the Series I, the Series II, the famous Coupé Aerodinamico, and the one-off Superfast II, III, and IV show-car evolution that helped shape Ferrari’s future luxury GT identity. About Ferrari America

Ferrari America is a series of flagship grand touring Ferrari models primarily built for the North American market in the 1950s and 1960s. The America models were equipped with large V12 engines and often had custom bodywork done by famous coachbuilders in Italy. All America models used a live axle in the rear, were front-engined, and had worm and sector steering. Two models from the series, the 410 and the 400, were called Superamerica with the final model, the 500 being called the superfast.
