1993 Chevy Lumina APV - Replacing Engine Belt & Tensioner Pulley
Something I generally don't do until something is wrong, is replace the pulley on the belt tensioner. What happens is this bearing starts to fail and makes a loud noise, eventually it will seize and take out your belt, leaving you stranded. So, like most good parts, it starts to make noise before it goes and its a great time to change it. While we're doing it, might as well put on a known belt and keep the old one as a spare, same with the pulley, we'll hold on to it for safe keeping. Should work for any Chevy Lumina APV, Pontiac Trans Sport, and Oldsmobile Silhouette.
