Iran Ranks Sixth in Global Car Manufacturing Growth
According to IRNA, Iran will be placed sixth globally in terms of development in the automobile industry by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (also known as OICA). According to statistics from the OICA, Iran's production of automobiles grew by 19% in 2022, when the nation produced 1.064 million vehicles, up from 894,000 in 2021. The international organisation listed Iran as the 16th biggest automaker in the world in 2022 in its yearly report, which was published in mid-March. Iran now ranks above industrialised nations like the UK, Russia, and the Czech Republic, according to the OICA study, after moving up three spots from the previous year among the best automakers worldwide.
