I saved up with numerous part-time student jobs and bought it when I was 16. As it turned out I found the Bug advertised in an out of date Auto Trader mag and discovered it was still for sale. The rest, as cliche as it sounds, is history. The VW isn't exactly a barn find, but it has sat in my garage gathering dust since 2003. I last drove it on the road in 2003 and last started it a decade ago.
