Detailing an Isetta stored for 51 years
1958 Isetta buff and polish marathon. I like automotive originality and our new car has oodles of it. I'd rather not repaint this all original lacquer paint Isetta. The original paint is in amazing condition but there are some scrapes, dents, and bruises, and some major body age related defects to deal with. The goal is to make it shine and look the best I can with what I have. I removed road tar, bumper rust, and horrible oxidized dead paint to reveal a fine luster with some patina. I'm so happy this car was stored indoors for so long.
