I flick through a c1946 Fordson 5cwt & 10cwt van brochure, feat. classic E04C & E83W British Ford vans. A brochure for the 1938 E83W has already been uploaded to this channel (link at the end of this video), here though it's shown in post-war form. As for the 5cwt Fordson, most survivors are the later E494C type but here it's the previous (albeit similar) Fordson E04C that features, with its E04A-Anglia style grille. This video forms part of a section I'm building up on the main Old Classic Car site (https://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/), where contemporary brochures for classic cars, vans and lorries are featured. You'll find a list of all the videos I've uploaded so far here on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKaTg9fPUvmUQi94FcnDbrg/ I hope that this vid was of interest, not just to fans of classic vans and pickups, but also to anyone with an interest in classic British vehicles of all shapes and sizes. If you own either of these vans, it'd be interesting to read your thoughts about them in the comments section below. Thanks for watching, RJ. #fordsonvan #fordsonvans #classicvans

The van was sold in Australia as the Ford Ten-Ten, and the E83W was available in various forms around much of the world as Britain strove to export after World War II. In some countries, the 'cowl and chassis' only was imported and local bodies built. The...
