Over the years I've noticed these cars are becoming increasingly more difficult to find. I finally found & grabbed a 1988 BMW 535is e28 that's was abandoned and in need of love for years. Its equipped with a 3.4L inline 6 cylinder M30 engine and a 260 getrag 5 speed manual transmission. Not only that, But from what I understand the "is" models come with M-tech packages, which include the M steering wheel, Sports leather seats, M-tech front bumper, rear spoiler and MUCH MORE. If you have any questions let me hear em in the comments. So this will be the first video of my restoration series of this beautiful car. I take some time to do a walk around, show some of its issues and go on a first drive. While Im literally sitting in the car doing the review, a random guy pulled into the lot after he spotted the e28 and proceeded to tell me how much he loves the car. He pulled up in a 1973 triumph (i forget the model) when I didn't even know Triumph made cars! Ive gotten more compliments in the first day of owning the 535is than I have so far owning a Shelby GT350 which I think is unbelievably crazy. I didn't realize how many people knew and appreciated these old cars. But anyway, this will be the first video of the series and I will go on to upload my maintenance, modification, and restoration of this car. I will probably start with some of the more serious issues first like the leaking brake line, which will likely be ridiculously annoying to replace. And then move on to the fluid changes, the the window motors and so on.
