The 2026 Rivian R1S Quad is one of the craziest SUVs I've ever driven. Keisha, Brittany and Stephanie are about to dive into it. On the outside, it looks like a simple family SUV... but underneath, it's hiding 1,025 horsepower, 1,198 lb-ft of torque, and a 0–60 mph time of around 2.5 seconds.
In this review, we're putting the Rivian R1S Quad to the test to see if it's really worth the hype—and the price tag. We cover the interior, Kick Turn, built-in flashlight, Dog Mode, built-in air compressor, technology, and all the little details that make this one of the most unique SUVs on the road.
Of course, we're also keeping it real. We'll talk about what we love about the Rivian, what we don't love (including the boxy styling and premium price), and whether we'd actually spend our own money on one.
