New Huawei Maextro S800 Luxury Sedan Interior Features
Maextro is the fourth automotive brand launched by Huawei, developed in collaboration with JAC under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA). Introduced last year, it won’t be the company’s final venture into the car market. The Maextro S800 executive sedan measures 5,480 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,542 mm in height, with a generous 3,370 mm wheelbase. Built on a bespoke platform featuring an advanced 800-volt electrical architecture across all variants, the S800 comes equipped with a fully controlled chassis and a height-adjustable adaptive air suspension system—double wishbone setup at the front and a multi-link arrangement at the rear. High-performance disc brakes are provided by Brembo, while standard wheel options include 20- or 21-inch alloys. The interior of the Maextro S800 is packed with cutting-edge Huawei technology, highlighted by the 2,920-watt Huawei Sound Ultimate audio system featuring an astonishing 43 speakers. Luxurious materials dominate the cabin—genuine leather, suede, wood, crystal, and polished aluminum are used extensively, leaving little to no bare plastic in sight. The dashboard is dominated by a massive triple-screen display, complemented by a 76-inch augmented reality heads-up display projected onto the windshield and a digital rearview mirror. Comfort is paramount, with four-zone climate control and fully adjustable seats that come standard with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Rear passengers in the Maextro S800 enjoy a range of premium amenities, including a built-in refrigerator capable of maintaining temperatures between -6°C and +50°C. A ceiling-mounted movie screen serves both as an entertainment display and a partition, separating the rear cabin from the driver’s area for added privacy. Depending on the variant, the main trunk offers between 438 and 445 liters of cargo space, while electric versions include an additional 62-liter front trunk (frunk) for extra storage. The electric Maextro S800 features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, with the front motor delivering 218 hp and 277 Nm of torque, and the rear motor producing 318 hp and 396 Nm. This setup enables 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.3 to 4.5 seconds, depending on the configuration, with a top speed electronically limited to 210 km/h. Equipped with a 97 kWh battery, the S800 offers a driving range of 650 to 702 km on a single charge, based on the CLTC cycle. Curb weight ranges from 2,604 to 2,685 kg. The plug-in hybrid versions of the Maextro S800 are equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 170 hp, located at the front. This engine does not drive the wheels directly but functions solely as a generator to recharge the 65 kWh traction battery. The standard hybrid setup includes two electric motors: 218 hp and 208 Nm at the front, and 318 hp and 396 Nm at the rear. This configuration allows for 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.9 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 200 km/h. On electric power alone, the S800 offers a range of up to 400 km, while the total range in hybrid mode—with a full 50-liter fuel tank—reaches up to 1,333 km. The higher-end hybrid variant of the Maextro S800 features a three-motor setup: a single 218 hp, 208 Nm motor on the front axle, and two rear motors that together deliver 646 hp and 510 Nm of torque. This configuration enables 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.6 to 4.7 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 200 km/h. On electric power alone, the range is between 340 and 365 km, while in hybrid mode, with assistance from the onboard generator, the total driving range extends to 1,155–1,200 km. Curb weight for hybrid versions ranges from 2,770 to 2,851 kg. #huawei #maextros800 #huaweimaextros800 #huaweimaextros800interior
