The Ferrari 360 Challenge is the pure race car variation of the 360 Modena. Its sole purpose is to race in the Ferrari Challenge series, an international single marque racing series which was basically meant as a "gentleman's racing series" where Ferrari's clients could get back to its racing roots and take their cars out on the track without the need for being professional race car drivers. The Ferrari 360 Challenge is perfect for those who wish to take a Ferrari to the track and run in serious competition without the need for an entire race team. The Ferrari Challenge started in 1993 with the 348 Berlinetta. In 1995 it continues with the F355, in 2000 there was the debut of the Ferrari 360 Challenge alongside the F355.
