BMW i3: How to Drive Over 400 Miles in an Electric Car With Less Than 150 Miles of Range
We had to collect a 120Ah fully electric BMW i3 from Livingston in Scotland. Hence we thought this would be a great opportunity to show all (potential) electric vehicle drivers how to complete long journeys in an electric car, even if you do not have a Tesla with over 200 miles of range on a charge. How much did the whole 435-mile trip cost? How many charging stops did Martin need? How much longer did it take compared to a combustion-engined car? Were there any issues with the public charging infrastructure? All of these and many more questions are answered in the video.
