Our Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division creates cars that are the ultimate expression of Jaguar: stunning performance, exceptional luxury and cutting-edge technology. The latest creation to come from SVO’s state of the art Technical Center is the F‑TYPE SVR – our most powerful F‑TYPE ever. The 5.0-liter V8 unit’s twin vortex supercharger reduces drag and surge for responsive performance. Hold tight – it will take you from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 200 mph in coupe form. The Jaguar F-Type is a two-door, two-seater sports car (S-segment in Continental Europe), based on a shortened platform of the XK convertible, manufactured by the British car manufacturer Jaguar from 2013. It is the spiritual successor to the famous E-Type. It is also the replacement for the Jaguar XK. The car was launched initially as a 2-door soft-top convertible, later with a 2-door fastback coupé version launched in 2013 F-Type SVR (2016–present): At the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016, Jaguar unveiled the F-Type SVR. It features the same 5.0-litre supercharged V8 from the V8 S and R, but with 575 PS (423 kW; 567 bhp) and 680 N·m (500 lb·ft), launching the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and to a top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph), making it the first Jaguar since the XJ220 to reach 200 mph (320 km/h). The convertible can only reach 194 mph (312 km/h). It is available in both coupe and convertible versions, but only with all-wheel-drive.
S-segment cars are a European car segment class for sports coupés. The equivalent Euro NCAP class is called "roadster sport".
