These vehicles comply with B7/STANAG 2 standards, which indicate high levels of ballistic protection capable of withstanding a variety of threats, including small arms fire, 7.62 mm ammunition, explosives weighing up to 6 kg and 155 mm high explosive (HE) artillery shells. Gurkha MPV is equipped with a 6.7-litre V8 turbodiesel engine that produces 330 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. It has a 6-speed automatic transmission that allows a top speed of 130 km/h. The vehicle's 4x4 powertrain features an instant shift feature that allows the driver to switch between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive modes as needed. A notable feature of these vehicles is their self-sealing tires, which are designed to continue operating even after loss of tire pressure, reducing the risk of immobilization due to tire damage in war zones. The base weight of the Gurkha MPV is approximately 7,484 kg, although this may vary depending on optional equipment and armor configurations. It is equipped with 4-wheel ventilated disc brakes and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to increase control of the vehicle in emergency braking situations. The Gurkha MPV is 6.4 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and 2.6 meters high. Source: https://armyrecognition.cm
