I recently sold my 2021 BMW X3 and thought it would be good to provide an overview of my long-term ownership experience of this car. As I have also owned 2018 and 2019 BMW X3’s of the current generation, I thought it would be good to go through all of the positives and negatives of my ownership experience across all the X3’s I have owned. All X3’s I’ve owned have been xDrive30i models, which have the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine producing 248 horsepower and 258 pound feet of torque. The X3 will be fully redesigned for the 2025 model year, but my ownership experience should be valid for anyone looking for a 2018 to 2024 model as they all share the same basic design and powertrain.
