My Ford EXP Turbo Project Part 1: Stripping it of its Pride.....

The Turbo EXP Project has officially begun! It starts the same way as all my other restorations; by stripping it all down to nothing. Sadly, that's as far as this car goes....... The body is too far beyond any repair, I'd literally be building the car up from scratch to "save" it. I hate saying it but this one is very much a goner, but I was prepared for it. I got it because it had EVERYTHING that made it a factory Turbo car (except the actual turbocharger and air box lid), nothing else mattered because I have a spare rust-free EXP from NC that's been mostly torn apart for a restoration and had last fall picked up the turbocharger I was missing as well as an entire 1.9L direct replacement for my original turbo engine. So long story - short: what was two will be one! So let us kick off this video series where I combine an 83 and 84 EXP in the best period-correct resto-mod possible! Stay tuned!!!
