Prior to the manufacture and massive success of the Ford Model T, the company had produced several cars, and the Ford Model A was one of them. With production commencing in 1903, the original Ford Model A was actually the first car produced by the Ford Motor Company, and a Chicago dentist named Ernest Pfennig was recorded as the very first owner of this vehicle on July 23, 1903. 1904 Model A cars received a little upgrade as they were fitted with a larger 10-horsepower Model C engine, and marketed as Model AC. The Model AC can be physically distinguished from Model A by its larger six-by-three-bar radiator. 0:00 Ford Model A (1903 - 1904) Intro 0:13 Ford Model A (1903 - 1904) Beginnings 0:24 Ford Model A (1903 - 1904) Origin 0:44 Ford Model A (1903 - 1904) Overview 2:17 Ford Model A (1903 - 1904) Development 2:31 Ford Model A (1903 - 1904) Production 2:44 Ford Model A (1903 - 1904) Price Range Check out Ford's first DIRT TRACK RACING CAR https://youtu.be/VzazQbe_34Q

The French inventor Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot built the first steam-powered road vehicle in 1769, while the Swiss inventor François Isaac de Rivaz designed and constructed the first internal combustion-powered automobile in 1808.
