I drove the Mercedes-AMG ONE around the Nürburgring!

We all know by now that the Mercedes-AMG ONE is effectively a Formula 1 car for the road, right? Well, guess what… Mat has had a chance to get hands-on with one! That’s right, he’s flown out to the Nurburgring GP circuit and he’s about to put the AMG ONE through its paces to see just what the hype is all about! First off, let’s remind you about performance It comes with the same power unit as you’ll find in a 2015 F1 car, a 1.6-litre V6 turbo petrol which is also joined by two electric motors on the front axel! Combined, they deliver 1,063hp and hit 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds. What’s more, it can also hit 200km/h in just 7 seconds!! However, it’s not all hardcore performance though! Not only can the AMG ONE run on EV power alone for 11 miles, but it also comes with swathes of Alcantara throughout the interior, along with air conditioning and the ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice recognition tech! The question is, with only 275 cars set to be made, is it really worth the eye-watering £2,000,000 price tag?
