The JDM engine can have the computer retard ignition timing on bad fuel, so you need to make sure you have good quality gas in your tank. The JDM engine is also almost impossible to buy without also buying an AP1 transmission already attached to it. Overall, the AP2 Transmission's smoother shifting, shorter 1-4 gears, paired with the higher power output of the JDM engine make for a MUCH more lively driving experience.
