Lewis Hamilton won his first F1 title in 2008 at the final corner of the Brazilian Grand Prix. His main title rival Felipe Massa drove the perfect race, but it still wasn't enough and so he painfully lost out to the Brit by a single point. Recently, however, he's stated that he's appealing to get the result of the championship overturned due to the Crashgate saga in Singapore.
