FOR SALE is a true 1 owner 1969 Porsche 912. This car was purchased new at Atlas VW In San Francisco, CA by the original owner, Will Smith. They stopped driving it in 2009 and it sat in the garage ever since. Recently they decided to clean up the house so the Porsche had to get sold. Watch the video to see the interaction with the original owners. This 912 is highly original, besides one paint job sometime in the late 80s. It comes with all the documents, records, booklets, and original dealer paperwork. The drivetrain is all numbers matching. This vehicle has no real rust anywhere. The floors have never been replaced or undercoated. The cosmetic conditions shown in the videos, and photo gallery on the website. The vehicle is in great condition, especially for its age. Paint is deep and glossy. The interior is all original, it’s remarkable, no cracks on the dash. It’s not a show car, but for being original, it held up well, and the owner took care of it. The odometer reads roughly 25k miles. Has rolled over once. You wouldn’t believe how easy it was to get running again. We took the tank out, cleaned it, replaced a few fuel lines and it fired right up. Mechanically it runs and drives well. The motor sounds good, and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. It still needs a thorough service before really driving much. I would recommend plugs, wires, carburetor adjustment etc. We just did the bare minimum to show you that the motor is healthy, it shifts well, clutch, brakes, steering all feel good. You can elevate it from here. There are no notable fluid leaks. There are no unusual drivetrain or suspension noises. All suspension and steering components are in proper working order.
