Bristol Cars has finally taken the wraps off the Bullet, the roadster formerly known as Project Pinnacle, and it's lovely. Compared to the camouflaged images from its run up the hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, these official shots give a much better look at the Bullet's detailing. For example, the chin spoiler looks far deeper without camo, and we're digging the strong, straight cuts that extend from the back of each wheel arch. The new images also give a great look at the Bullet's prominent tail fins, which like everything else on the Bullet are inspired by the Bristol 405 Drophead. They're bigger and more prominent, but they still look organic. It's the car's fascia that's our favorite part – it's almost retro, but it works. The prominent grille and round headlights are classically British and should cut a striking figure going down the road. The new shots also give a great look into the Bullet's cabin. Step over the side sills – which are absolutely huge – and into a cockpit loaded with tan leather. Dissected by a high transmission tunnel, there's a distinct lack of buttons and knobs. It's a clean interior treatment, contrasted by the dark finish on the dash and around the instrument cluster. And underhood, Bristol went out of its way to disguise the BMW 4.8-liter V8, sticking its badge on top of a large engine cover – the single shot also gives a great look at the Bullet's carbon-fiber work. According to Top Gear, the Bimmer mill is good for 370 horsepower and 370 pound-feet of torque, allowing the Bullet to accelerate to 60 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds. The top speed sits at an electronically limited (but still toupee-tousling) 155 miles per hour.
