1998 Mercedes-Benz CLK LM - 5.0-litre NA V8 Engine - Action & Sound at Goodwood Festival of Speed

What you see here is the incredible 1998 Mercedes-Benz CLK LM in action at the latest Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car, to take part in the 24h of Le Mans has been modified by the previous CLK GTR first of all by the engine that has passed from the M120 V12 to the M119 HL V8 naturally aspirated, derived from Sauber C9/C11. The turbochargers have been removed and the engine thus modified has been called GT108 B. Also the car shape has been modified to face without problems the Le Mans high speeds. The front has been lowered and there's only one large opening for the air cooling in the front. The roof of the car has also been lowered and a new engine air intake has been designed for better cooling of the same along with various other mechanical modifications. This new car will become the CLK LM. Other technical specifications can be found in the video and you can see the highlights with the best car performances throughout the weekend. Enjoy! ;-) Quella che vedete è l'incredibile Mercedes-Benz CLK LM anno 1998 che ha preso parte all'edizione 2018 del Goodwood Festival of Speed. La vettura, per prendere parte alla 24h di Le Mans è stata modificata dalla precedente CLK GTR innanzitutto dal motore che è passato dall' M120 V12 all'M119 HL V8 aspirato di derivazione Sauber C9/C11. I turbocompressori sono stati rimossi ed il motore così modificato è stato designato chiamato GT108 B. Anche la carrozzeria è stata modificata per affrontare senza problemi le alte velocità raggiungibili Le Mans. Il muso è stato abbassato e vi è un'unica grande apertura per l'aria di raffreddamento nella parte anteriore. Anche il tetto dell'auto è stato abbassato e una nuova presa d'aria del motore è stata progettata per un migliore raffreddamento dello stesso insieme a varie altre modifiche meccaniche.
