The Karenjy, with its distinctive look, is the only car which is made in Madagascar and one of few automobiles manufactured in Africa. The car is made by the Malagasy for the Malagasy. Since 2009, only 140 Karenjy have been made, tailored to a client's demands for around 15,000 euros. About Karenjy
Karenjy is an automobile manufacturer based in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar. It produced vehicles from 1985 to 1995 when the company was dissolved. In January 2009, the company was re-established and production of the Karenjy Tily, which is based on the Renault 18 and Renault Express, commenced the same year. The factory produced two popemobile.
