🔌 Dongfeng Box POV Test Drive | Compact Electric Hatchback Review & Specs
Join me for a POV test drive of the Dongfeng Box (also known as the Nammi Box) – a stylish and practical compact electric hatchback designed for city driving. In this video, you’ll experience the Box from the driver’s seat and see how it performs on the road.
The Dongfeng Box comes with two battery options: a 31.4 kWh pack offering around 240 km of range, and a larger 42.3 kWh pack with up to 340 km of range. Both versions are powered by a 70 kW (95 hp) electric motor producing 160 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in about 10.6 seconds with a top speed of 140 km/h.
Despite its compact size (4.03 m long), the Box offers impressive practicality with 326 liters of trunk space, expandable to 945 liters. Inside, you’ll find a modern cabin with premium touches like quilted upholstery, ambient lighting, and a 12.8-inch touchscreen in higher trims.
Charging is quick and convenient with DC fast charging up to 60 kW, allowing 30–80% in just around 15 minutes. It also supports V2L (Vehicle-to-Load), so you can power appliances directly from the car — perfect for camping or outdoor activities.
