The All-New International S13 Integrated Powertrain: Precision Maneuvering Mode

The All-New S13 Integrated Powertrain from International Truck offers some unique features aimed at putting the driver in total control and enhancing their driving experience. Maneuvering mode is an optional feature the gives the driver optimal control of the vehicle at low speeds. This is especially useful for specific movements such as reversing in tight parking spaces, backing up to loading docks, connecting to a trailer, or other low speed maneuvers. Maneuvering mode is activated by pressing the top of the maneuvering mode switch which is represented by turtle icons and is deactivated by pressing the bottom of the switch. Maneuvering mode will disable if the vehicle exceeds a specific speed. This mode will not operate if cruise control is active, or the transmission is in 9th gear or higher.
