The plastic engine cover on top of the engine pops loose if you pull up on it, so first you’ll want to remove the engine cover and clean it with a mild cleanser like dish soap or simple green. It is made of silver plastic, so you can scrub it gently with a toothbrush and use mild cleaner to get all the oil and dust off of it. The rest of the engine can be dusted and blown off, and then you can use a mild cleaner on all the surfaces of the engine on your Prius to clean it, and then are used water to Rinse the soap off of the Toyota Prius engine and get it nice and clean, and then I finished it off with some armor all on the black plastic surfaces. This whole Toyota Prius engine detailing job took about 10 minutes, and the engine looks a lot better than it used to.
