This is a Motormouth couple car review of the updated 2026 Nissan Pathfinder mid-size, 3-row SUV.
The 2026 Nissan Pathfinder has a 3.5L V6 with a 9-speed automatic transmission, 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. In Canada, standard 4WD. In the US, 2WD and 4WD models are available. You can use regular fuel in the Pathfinder. This model is made in the US.
The 2026 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek model gets a power boost, an extra 11 horsepower and 11 lb-ft of torque if you use premium fuel, standard 4WD.
What’s New? The 2026 Nissan Pathfinder has an updated front and rear fascia and new badging. The interior has a new dashboard with Pathfinder lettering and a new larger standard 12.3” touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The top Platinum trim adds quilted seats, a wood-tone interior trim and 20” wheels. New available features include, a wireless charger with cooling and an intelligent around view monitor, with front wide view invisible hood.
The 2026 Nissan Pathfinder has a great exterior design, it’s bold and boxy with a rugged appeal. It comes standard with LED headlamps, dual power outside mirrors with LED turn signal indicator, LED taillamps, 18” wheels, available 20” wheels and a tow hitch receiver with harness. The Rock Creek model adds LED fog lamps, unique bumper, grille, emblem, badging, roof rack, 18” wheels and all-terrain tires. Available features include power folding exterior mirrors.
The 2026 Nissan Pathfinder is a 7-8 passenger vehicle. In Canada, the Rock Creek model is offered with a second row bench seat and the Platinum model comes with either a bench seat or captain’s chairs. In the US, all trims but the base model are offered with either the bench seat or captain’s chairs.
The 2026 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum model adds the semi-aniline leather seats with quilting, a wood tone interior trim and a 12.3” digital driver display. The Rock Creek model has different interior design elements including leatherette and cloth upholstery, lava red interior stitching and Rock Creek badging. In the US, there are more trims available and more upholstery options including standard cloth, available leatherette.
Available 2026 Nissan Pathfinder features include, a head-up display, 12-speaker Bose audio system, driver seat memory, ventilated front seats, a power passenger seat and heated rear seats.
