The overall length is 4.3 m, which is 55 cm more than the Vitz-Yaris hatchback sibling. More importantly, the wheelbase has also been extended by 9 cm to improve rear-row comfort. The turning radius is 4.9 m for the front-wheel drive variant as well as the 4WD ones. The suspension is tuned in a budget way — not too soft or sporty. But it's more than enough for the average user. Rough surfaces and potholes are adequately damped. The AC is efficient — depending on the trim, it might be a manual or fully automatic single-zone system. Some trims also come with a reversing camera and an extensive infotainment system complete with navigation. Keyless entry and a push-to-start button are two of the most frequently found optional extras. The Belta comes as standard with UV-cut glass to reduce heat build-up in the cabin. The boot space is certainly impressive. With a capacity of 450 litres, the Toyota Belta’s boot offers about 57% more space than the 286-litre trunk of the Vitz hatchback.
