Pinto Race Car Work! Race Day Prep? MASSIVE FAILURE!
After purchasing the Junkyard Digs Pinto from Kevin, I immediately wanted to get the fixes started on this car and get it ready to hit the track. As a "turn key" race car there were certainly some things that needed to be addressed, but I didn't think any of them would be overly complicated or time consuming. So in my positivity I booked my first test and tune session at Mid Ohio for August 29th, today, and set about trying to figure out what all needed to get done. Night shift at Lucore Automotive clocking in, let's get to work! Unfortunately, I failed. We failed. So much failure in one video. This is definitely not the video I wanted to be making for today, but as an Automotive YouTuber I promise to share the good, the bad, and the ugly along the journey so you all REALLY get an understanding of what goes on with this stuff. They aren't all fast and furious track days, hanging out and having fun, and epic road trip adventures. Sometimes they are all night frantic wrenching sessions that, at the end of it all, end up in complete and utter failure. Oh, and of course plenty of money being wasted as well!
