It’s time for a BMW head-to-head! We’ve got Mat in the latest BMW M4 CS, and he’s going up against the M8 Competition! Let’s take a closer look at these contenders… Starting with the M4 CS, it’s powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six that delivers 550hp and 650Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it tips the scales at 1,760kg. As new, it costs £117,000. The M8 Competition is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this puts down 625hp and 750Nm. As with the M4, power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and it weighs in at 1,975kg.
