100% Mechanically restored and 90% cosmetically this woody wagon is ready to go 1949 Oldsmobile Futuramic 88 Woody Station Wagon. *RARE* Only 1,350 built. Rocket 88 303 CID V8 engine, just rebuilt . Newly rebuilt 4-speed hydramatic automatic transmission. All new brakes with less than 500 miles on them. Beautiful straight body panels and paint. This car represents the former owner's dream in which he spent $125k doing a complete mechanical and body restoration that is just short of completion. The engine, transmission and brake system are freshly rebuilt. The steel body panels are straight and rust free with high quality paint. The items that need completion are: re-chrome bumpers, new carpets, head liner, new tires, and misc. exterior trim. The interior upholstery, floor boards and dash board are in excellent condition. The woody wagon starts easily, runs and drives smoothly with no issues. You can use and enjoy this car as you complete the remaining items.
