2027 BMW X5 G65— NEW GENERATION
The X5 isn’t just another model update. The X5 is BMW’s best-selling model worldwide: over 3.1 million units have been sold across four generations, and the fifth generation will mark the most significant update to the vehicle since its launch in Spartanburg 27 years ago. As I mentioned earlier, the new X5 will include the first electric SUV, the iX5, based on the Neue Klasse platform, as well as four other powertrains.

The G65 BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by German automaker BMW. It is the fifth generation of the BMW X5, set to debut on 30 June 2026 and succeeding the G05 X5. The G65 is the first X5 to receive a battery electric variant, named the iX5.
