How VTEC Works (In 60 Seconds)
VTEC is Honda's variable valve technology used to change the amount of valve lift and valve duration in the engine. By altering valve lift and duration, you can influence how much air the engine receives, and can thus influence power. The more air you put in an engine, with more fuel, the more horsepower you make!
