Parked for 30 YEARS: Getting an E21 BMW 320i Running Again
Our friend Taylor found a 1983 BMW 320i that had been parked since 1990 and was listed as non-running. He bought it on the cheap and dragged it home to see what he could do. Though a bit unloved compared to the BMW 2002 or E30 3-series, the 320i only has 99k miles and it would be sad to see it junked. Here's how Taylor brought this E21 3-series back to life. The BMW E21 is the first generation of the BMW 3 Series, a range of compact executive cars. The E21 was produced from June 1975 to December 1983 and replaced the BMW 02 Series. The series was exclusively built in a sporty two-door sedan / coupé body-style (except for convertibles made by Baur).
