...Source: https://cnev.co/ShihnNl Transcript: China EV Post is reporting that Huawei’s auto brand Luxeed, in partnership with Chery, is preparing to debut its first seven-seat MPV model — the Luxeed V9 — this spring, with a market launch expected in the first half of 2026. The Luxeed V9 will be part of Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance and will use a plug-in hybrid system with a 1.5-liter Chery engine as a range extender. It offers two battery options: 37 kWh or 53.4 kWh, giving a purely electric driving range between 98 and 138 miles. Battery suppliers include CATL, using either ternary lithium or lithium iron phosphate cells. The vehicle’s top speed is about 118 miles per hour. The V9 is now listed in China’s approval catalog, which is the final regulatory step before it can start selling officially. This will be Luxeed’s third model, joining the existing S7 sedan and R7 SUV. No official price has been announced just yet, but expect more details as it approaches its full reveal in the next few months.
Anhui Luxeed New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd or Luxeed (Chinese: 智界汽车; pinyin: Zhìjiè Qìchē; lit. 'Intelligent world') is a premium electric vehicle manufacturer owned by Chery, in cooperation with Huawei under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA).
