First up we have Mat in the 2021 season Corolla, which is powered by a 2-litre turbocharged 4 cylinder engine to deliver 370hp & 400Nm of torque. It’s FWD and weighs in at 1,270kg. What’s more, if Mat were to crash it, it’d cost about £250,000 to replace!! Alongside him we have the 2022 season car, which is mostly identical to the current season car. However, it’s got one key advantage - it includes an EV motor that’ll deliver an extra 40hp for 15 second bursts! And then finally we have the classic AE86. It may only have a 1.6-litre naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine that delivers 182hp, but it also only weighs 800kg! Does it stand a chance?
