Toyota Avensis T25 2004 (1AZ-FSE VTTi) 'Loose' metallic rattle noise
Hi y'all, Got this rattle, usually present when engine is warm, but not exclusively. Rattle speed increases with RPM. Doesn't appear to be rodknock, sounds too "loose" imo Any one recognize the noise? Piston, lifters, valves? Random loose part in the engine bay? Timing chain tension appears to be fine, nice and tight. Any ideas, please let me know! Ill update for any potential solving!
