Ford Bronco II Tough Truck Racing

The Ford Bronco II is a small SUV manufactured by Ford from 1985 to 1990. It was based on the Ford Ranger of those years and shared a lot of parts with its pick up truck brother. It was commonly equipped with a small 2.8 or 2.9 liter v6 and either an automatic or manual transmission. For the years that it was produced its direct competition was the Jeep Cherokee. It was replaced in 1991 by the Ford Explorer. It is an occasional competitor in local tough truck races, and some of them do relatively well as long as they weren’t total beaters before entry. Like the Jeep Cherokee they have a pretty good weight balance and the Twin I-beam front suspension does a pretty good job at soaking up the jumps. Our Recording Gear!
