Military Grade Power Wagon with Powerful Cummins Diesel | Star City Motor Madness

1960s1963youtube

We’re in the Blue Ridge Mountains for a wildly awesome show: Star City Motor Madness. Our first find from Roanoke, Virginia is one bad machine! Equipped with a QSB Cummins Diesel engine and robust military running gear, the 1963 Dodge M37 is the predecessor to the Power Wagon. Then we head over to an insane Hot Rod that definitely lives up to its name. Bipolar is the combination of 1959 Pontiac styling and a Ford Model A frame, and some serious attitude. From its high-performance 305 Camaro powerplant to its head turning design, this custom creation is a definitely a wild ride. Next up, is the most severely squashed Bug we’ve ever seen. With its 8-inch chop and Indy-car push rod suspension setup, this 1973 Volkswagen Beetle hovers just above the asphalt as it flies down the road. You have to check this thing out! Then, Dennis makes his way through the crowd to a bright red 350 HP 1952 Nash Rambler that looks like it could’ve starred in the Adventures of Superman TV Show. Just like Lois Lane’s famous convertible, this Nash Rambler is a unique and classy sedan. And speaking of vintage Hollywood vehicles, we also chased down one of the actual Ectomobiles from the 80’s movie Ghostbusters. This 1959 Cadillac was built as an Ambulance by Miller-Meteor Car Company before it was turned into Ecto-1 for the film. This exhibition model was primarily used to for promoting the movie, so it’s fully furnished with a Slime Detector, Ecto-containment system and functional movie gadgetry. With so many incredible cars on display in this fun mountain town, Roanoke, Virginia’s Star City Motor Madness show really is a great time! 0:00 - Intro 2:32 – 1963 Dodge M37B1 Military Truck with QSB Cummins Diesel Engine 5:07 – 1959 Pontiac and Model A Hot Rod: Bipolar 7:27 - 1973 Chopped and Dropped Volkswagen Beetle Race Car 10:00 – 1952 Nash Rambler Roll-Back Convertible 12:03 – 1959 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Ambulance from Ghostbusters #MyClassicCar #ClassicCar #DennisGage #RoanokeVirginia #VirginiaClassicCarShow #BlueRidgeMountains #AppalachianMountains #Dodge #PowerWagon #MilitaryTruck #MovieCars #Ghostbusters #HotRod #VWBug #Miller-Meteor S15E06
