The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB is a prestigious sports car developed by the Italian manufacturer Ferrari. It appeared in 1959 and became the first car to be known internationally for its Grand Touring victories. While the Ferrari name was already synonymous with performance, the reduction of the Ferrari 250's chassis from 2,600mm to ideal proportions and the term SWB, for Short Wheel Base, became a cult term in the GT class.
