Motor Manufacturers HATE Him! One Simple Trick to Saving THOUSANDS!
Custom shaft solution for a LEM 200 motor. The silver steel OEM shaft torqe'd itself into a pretzel, so I replaced it with a manually-machined 4140 shaft tempered to HRC 40. It's an integrated friction clutch with a 13 tooth sprocket for #50 chain, with bottom replaceable clutch pads. It could use a bearing/bushing element between the sprocket to reduce steel on steel wearing, but I'm happy with it otherwise. Will be testing it soon, and if it works out you might see it on TV...
